full-scale Sunderland Flying Boat in the sand - Ganavan Sands

The drawing will be created at lowest tide. We will lay an ‘anchored’ wreath and as the sea returns, the drawing will gradually disappear beneath the waves. The wreath will float at its ‘anchored’ position.

Everyone is invited to help create the drawing, lay the wreath and pay tribute to those involved in WW2 - or simply just come along and watch.

More stories about the Sunderland and its connection to Oban will follow over the coming days.

Hope to see you there!
