Fort William is around two to three hours by road from Glasgow or Inverness, with direct trains from Glasgow Queen Street.

Parking & roads

Expect busy roads around the A82 on trial days.
The main car park at the west end of town is closed to the public all week.
At sections, park fully off the road and never in passing places.

Not every section is open to spectators, and some are a long walk in. The official programme, on sale in Fort William from late April, has maps to the best spots.
