Jack Richardson

Hi I'm Jack, one of the team here with Sy supporting the station.

I moved to the Highlands in 2022, fancying a change after a number of years living in Manchester. It was only meant to be for a year... but I'm still here!

I have a background in radio, but had a career change when I moved here, which has been really enjoyable. I started as a volunteer with Nevis not long after I moved up, but stopped due to work commitments. I rejoined in 2024, and since the expansion into Oban, have been part of many events, which I love, as its usually a technical challenge but also good fun!

I am a keen hill walker, love music, my radio interests, also got a Nikon DSLR from a previous job which I've kinda learnt how to use. Take the bike out from time to time too.
