The Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC), the membership organisation representing Scotland’s self-catering accommodation sector, is bringing its Regional Gathering to the Highland Cinema in Fort William on Wednesday 4th November, from 10am to 3pm.
Under the theme Meeting the Challenges, Seizing the Opportunities, the event will bring together tourism businesses, industry experts and local stakeholders to explore the issues shaping tourism and the visitor economy across Scotland.
Whether you run a self-catering business or have an interest in tourism and its impact on local communities, the programme offers plenty to explore. Topics include visitor levies, licensing, planning, non-domestic rates and the latest market trends, alongside discussion about tourism’s contribution to local businesses, jobs and communities.
With guest speakers, expert discussions and opportunities to connect with people from across the Highlands and beyond, the event offers a chance to hear different perspectives and learn more about the opportunities and challenges facing Scotland’s tourism sector. Lunch and networking are included.
