Sundays - 10:00 to 12:00

Originally from Coatbridge, I moved to Fort William from Mallaig in 2002, where I was a regular listener of Nevis Radio, in particular Memories on a Sunday morning which back then was presented by Gina with help from Chloe and Sandy.
In 2004, I met Willie Cameron who was station manager at the time, and he told me the station was looking for new presenters.

I volunteered and after a very short period of training, was asked to do my first broadcast which was Drivetime in August of that year.
Work commitments allowed me to become the regular mid morning presenter later that year, a show which I did for almost 4 years.

Again work commitments changed things and I had to stop doing that show and I had about a year where I was covering other shows while folks had holidays etc.
I started doing Memories myself on a Sunday morning in 2009 and to save the same music being played regularly, I decided to play my way through my entire music collection alphabetically. I play on average 30 songs per week, and at the time of writing this (Feb 2016), have reached the letter 'R'

My work these days is taken up with being a property landlord, office worker and wedding celebrant. My first wedding ceremony took place in March 2016 and I carry out an average of 3 per week. If you are looking to get married by a humanist celebrant in any location from Campbeltown to the Shetland Islands, then I can be booked through Fuze Ceremonies.

I am very happily married to Jan and at the moment between us we have 6 children and 11 grandchildren. Love every one of them and spend as much time as I can with them. My other passion is speedway and in particular Glasgow Tigers. I am accredited to do press work at the Peugeot Ashfield stadium and have regular competitions on Memories to give away tickets for the Tigers home meetings. I have watched Glasgow win the league title 3 times, league cup 3 times and pairs title 4 times, following the team to away tracks as far as Mildenhall, Swindon, Newcastle, Workington and various other tracks up and down the country.
